An EBook Book Reader Manufactured By The Computer Giants Acer In Line To Join Kindle
Acer Inc., no slouch when it comes to competing in the computer space, have announced their plans to go into the ebook book reader arena later on this year.
Acer senior manager Jim Wong, leader of the company's IT Products division, outlined the tactics during an interview with Bloomberg at Acer's headquaters in Taipei.
On the eve of Apple's alleged entrance into the tablet sweeps-a model that would serve e-book readers as well as others-Wong also said the company will what's more offer "hundreds" of apps online, programs which should support Google's Android program, at this time running on several Acer products, as well as having support for Microsoft's Windows OS.
